IT'S ALL IN THE GAME
CAMPS & CLINICS

Numerous services are provided at the two It’s All In The Game properties at 7797 W. Paradise Lane, adjacent to the Peoria Sports Complex, and 8866-B W. Thunderbird Road in the Rio Vista community sports complex. The Rio Vista facility site caters to both the skate and baseball/softball crowd, while the Paradise Lane site caters to all sports, with an emphasis on baseball/softball. The business already has several major retail relationships in place and is currently working to secure additional retail partnerships with a number of baseball/softball and skateboarding retailers.

The retail baseball/softball department will provide full service coverage, which will include a strong internet presence. Merchandise includes uniforms, helmets, gloves, shoes, and training materials, pitching machines, cages/netting, sports flooring, carpet, and turf. Crews can be arranged for installation, and the business intends to work with individuals, groups, organizations, and schools. The retail shop will be housed primarily in the Paradise Lane facility. A commercial website is being deployed and configured as the backbone of the business.

There are indoor hitting facilities at the Paradise Lane site and our experienced coaches will be participating in the sports side of the business, where the goal is to create a baseball academy and training environment that will draw people to the Peoria Sports Complex, where the Padres and the Mariners conduct spring training activities. While the building at Paradise Lane is setup for baseball and softball, it can easily be converted to serve athletes from other sports, as well. The baseball academy will utilize approximately 12,000 square feet indoors, plus additional space outdoors. There is room for expansion upstairs as needed, as well.

The owner, Dr. Dana Seltzer, is a former team physician for the Phoenix Coyotes, Phoenix Roadrunners, Phoenix Mustangs, Phoenix Cobras, and the Arizona Thunder. He has served as the team physician for several Phoenix area high schools. He is a double fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon, with specialty training in sports medicine, plus shoulder and elbow surgery. He is currently serving as the Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery and is the Director of Orthopedic Trauma at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and has recently taken over as the medical director/team physician for the Arizona Rattlers Arena Football League team. His sports medicine training included training at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic under Dr. Frank Jobe of the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is also a former college baseball player and intends to use his training to help set up preventative treatment programs for baseball/softball players and rehabilitation programs for safe return to play. Physician supervision, combined with knowledgeable physical therapists, makes this facility unique. The business intends to combine professional sports specific instruction with biomechanical analysis to promote performance enhancement with diminished risk for injuries from participation. Dr. Seltzer’s office space in the Paradise Lane facility consists of 1500 square feet immediately adjacent to the 5200 square foot physical therapy space occupied by the Physiotherapy Physical Therapy group.
